Ferguson to remain as Everton caretaker manager ahead of Man United game

Premier League side Everton has confirmed Duncan Ferguson will remain as their caretaker manager for Sunday's clash with Manchester United. 

Former striker Ferguson was in charge as the Blues secured a 3-1 victory over Chelsea at Goodison on Saturday. He will again be assisted by coaches John Ebbrell and Francis Jeffers and goalkeeper coach Alan Kelly.

"Duncan Ferguson will remain as Everton caretaker manager for Sunday’s Premier League visit to Manchester United," a club statement read.

The Toffees sacked Marco Silva last following strings of poor results, his last match being against Liverpool where they suffered a 5-1 defeat.
