After failing to secure regular playing shirt at Benfica senior team, Nigerian midfielder Tyronne Ebuehi could be on his way to the Netherlands.
After joining Benfica in 2018, Ebuehi suffered a cruciate ligament injury in training and spent the better side of his first season on the sideline.
He has managed to find his feet this season but not with the senior team, playing seven games for Benfica’s U23 side and making four appearances for the Team B.
Complete Sports quoted abola.pt as reporting that Benfica are looking at the possibility of sending the right-back out on loan to a club in Holland before the close of the winter transfer window.
The 24-year-old has made 78 league appearances for the club, scoring one goal.
He penned a five-year contract with Benfica after spending four years at Dutch Eredivisie outfit ADO Den Haag.
