Ghana Premier League club AshantiGold FC have reportedly reached an agreement with Algerian Ligue 1 side ES Setif for the transfer of Shafiu Mumuni.
According to Ghanasoccernet, Mumuni is set to sign a contract with ES Setif after he passed his medical examination on Thursday.
The 24-year-old is reportedly set to travel to Algeria at any moment to finalise his contract and personal terms.
Mumuni was the top goalscorer at the 2019 WAFU Cup of Nations after he successfully scored four goals in the tournament.
He went on to make history as the first-ever player to score a hattrick at the same tournament which was hosted by Senegal.
Mumuni has scored one goal from four appearances for AshGold in the Ghana Premier League.
ES Setif are currently 6th on the Algerian Ligue 1 table.
