📝🤝 SA teen Tashreeq Mathews completes Swedish move

Tashreeq Mathews has earned a move to Swedish club Varbergs BoIS FC.

Matthews, who is a Borussia Dortmund player since 2018, takes his third loan spell after stints at Utrecht in Holland and Sweden’s Helsingborg.

Varbergs excitedly announced the deal on their official website. Coach Joakim Persson spoke highly of the attacking midfielder saying:

"He has an extremely high maximum level... Tashreeq is young, so we will see how he can keep that level for a whole season. There is a lot to bring in a new team, and not least a new city.

"The whole team has a low middle age, so we hope that it will be good for him with many players of the same age around him, and that he will quickly get into the gang. But he has a lot of potential, so it will be very exciting and see what we can get out of him."

Meanwhile, Soccer Laduma believes the same club is set to sign another Mzansi footballer named Keanin Ayer.
