Harambee Stars defender Eric ‘Marcelo’Ouma made his AIK debut on Saturday as he helped them to a 2-1 win over Karlstad in a friendly clash staged at the Skytteholms IP.
Ouma who came on in the second half played a vital role in the team’s second goal as they had to come from a goal down to register the win.
Visitors Karlstand had taken a 39th-minute lead through Rasmus Gerhardsson Arvidsson; a goal that separated both teams heading into the break but Felix Michel restored matters in the 62nd minute after heading a Sebastian Larsson corner.
For AIK's second goal, Felix Michel struck a superb cross from the centre of the box to Ouma on the left, he passed the ball into the penalty to find the hovering Jasir Asani who received and with his left foot before placing it in the left corner.
Attention for Ouma and team will now shift to their game against Vasteras SK which is slated for Saturday 25 January at the same stadium; the team expected to camp in Spain for their pre-season ahead of the new campaign.
Ouma has been handed the number 25 jersey and will hope that he can get more playing time after inking a four year deal with the Swedish giants last month.
