Jurgen Klopp: Liverpool fans can dream about first Premier League title

After moving 16 points clear of Manchester City, Jurgen Klopp has told Liverpool fans that they can dream of their first-ever Premier League title.

Liverpool beat arch-rivals Manchester United 2-0 at Anfield to open up the biggest lead in the competition’s history at this stage.

The win ensured that the Reds are now 30 points clear of United with Klopp who had said he is not interested in title talk until it is mathematically won, finally noting the fans can now dream of the title.

Speaking in a press conference after the win over United, Klopp responded to the fans chants of 'We’re going to win the league'.

"Of course they are allowed to dream and sing whatever the want…as long as they are ready to do their job as well when we play, then I have no problem with that.

"If our fans would not be in a good mood now that would be really strange, so they can sing that. Everyone should celebrate the situation, apart from us. We will not be part of that party yet.

"I am not here to decide what they have to sing, the only thing I can tell you now is we are here to work, and it’s as simple as that."
