Tammy Abraham seemed to have hurt his ankle in Chelsea’s 2-2 draw against Arsenal last night, and his manager Frank Lampard says he is unsure of the severity of the injury.
Abraham, on an attack, slid into and advertising board late in the match under a challenge from Rob Holding.
At fulltime, asked about the severity of the injury, Lampard replied: "He has had ice on his ankle, but I haven't spoken to him yet, so I don't know."
The 22-year-old adds to a list of injured England players ahead of Euro 2020, with Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford and Spurs’ Harry Kane already facing long spells on the sidelines.
With PSG’s Edinson Cavani wanting out, the Blues might be interested in a short-term fix, with Olivier Giroud and Mitchy Batshuayi believed to be leaving the club.
