Kaizer Chiefs coach Ernst Middendorp has confirmed popular duo Khama Billiat and Itumeleng Khune are fit.
Chiefs fans have been excited to learn that Billiat and Khune will be available for Royal Eagles in the Nedbank Cup last 32 game on Saturday. The duo’s talent and massive popularity has thus led to high expectations to see two players losing places in the team to make way - but Middendorp does not think so...
“It will be the core of the players we have used in the PSL. We had no competitive game last week.

"Khama Billiat and Anthony Akumu Agay are both available for selection for Saturday's Nedbank Cup Last 32 clash against Royal Eagles" - Ernst Middendorp#NedbankCup2020 #Amakhosi4Life#KaizerChiefs50 pic.twitter.com/xbpYP9s1La
“[But] we will not set up because everybody deserves [a game],” Middendorp said via TimesLIVE.
“If it is Itu‚ Khama‚ whoever – please‚ we have a respectable team and squad for selection and sometimes players must wait for their opportunity‚ and whenever it is right.”
We can therefore expect Daniel Akpeyi to start in goal and Dumisani Zuma in attack - while Billiat and Khune could make late substitute appearances.
