Burnley are reportedly considering the possibility of signing youngster Conor Gallagher on loan from Chelsea according to the Daily Star.
Gallagher who has been tipped as a midfielder with an eye for goal is currently enjoying his time in the Championship; scoring six goals and providing nine assists this season - spending his time between Swansea City and a six-month spell at Charlton Athletic.
According to reports, the 20-year-old may be given the opportunity to showcase his skills in the Premier League with Burnley expressing their interest in his services.
Sean Dyche's charges have improved their standings this seasons and if they manage to snap up Gallagher, it would prove to be a massive boost for The Clarets.
“He has a lot of qualities. Physically, technical, you can see a lot of progress in just six months. He is becoming a leader in the starting team,” Chelsea legend Claude Makelele was quoted by The Star.
