Odion Ighalo has won his first Manchester United award after being named the winner of the club's Goal of month award following his strike against LASK in the Europa League early this month.
Ighalo struck twice in the game but it was his first goal that handed him the accolade with the Nigerian scooping 32% of the total votes cast by United fans.
In the game, Ighalo provided an assist for Daniel James to earn himself a place in the Europa League team of the week.
The striker who joined United in January on a loan deal beat off competition from midfielder Scott McTominay whose goal against Manchester City in the Manchester Derby in the same month garnered 26% of the votes.
Bruno Fernandes who has been a revelation for United since joining from Sporting Lisbon in January came third with 16% of the votes following his first strike from open play in United's 1-1 draw against Everton at Goodison Park.
United is said to have been impressed by Ighalo and are contemplating of handing him a permanent deal but the player's parent club have also offered him a new deal.
Ighalo is the eighth different winner of the club's goal of the month award this season and the first player to claim the prize with a strike from Europa League.
