Austria international Kevin Danso is expected to return to his parent club Augsburg when his loan deal with Southampton ends in the summer, Football Ghana confirm.
Danso joined Southampton on a season-long loan deal at the start of the 2019/20 season and made six league appearances before the league was suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The 21-year-old has also been hindered with injury woes that have limited his game time this season with the Saints.
“Everyone [all players on loan] is coming back now”, Augsburg manager Stefan Reuter said in an interview with Augsburger Allgemeine.
Alongside Danso, Mads Pedersen (FC Zurich), Tim Rieder (1860 Munich), and Romario Röesch (Roda JC) are also expected back at Augsburg following their loan spells.
Besides Kevin Danso, the likes of Mats Pedersen, Tim Rieder, and Romario Rösch who were also loaned out are expected to return to Augsburg.
