Wolves on the verge of agreeing to £13m deal for Sporting Lisbon's Joao Palhinha

Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly agreed on a deal that will bring Sporting Lisbon midfielder Joao Palhinha to Molineux for £13m as per CM Jornal reports.

Rui Patricio, Ruben Neves, Diogo Jota, Joao Moutinho and Ruben Vinagre have all made moves since Wolves were bought over a Chinese billionaire in the summer of 2016.

It looks like another Portuguese player will be making his way through to Molineux - it is inevitable as they seem to attract players of this calibre.

Palhinha impressed Nuno Espirito Santo during Braga's two matches against Wolves in the Europa League group stages - his tackling and excessive energy were on full display.

CM Journal claim that an agreement is already on the table and its a matter of time till the 24-year-old joins his fellow natives.

The publication further added that if Palhinha is brought to the club it would only mean that Leander Dendocker will be on his way out.

Calciomercato reported that Dendocker is on the radar of Serie A side Lazio and they will be doing their best to make sure the deal materialises in the summer.

Palhinha has made 35 appearances all while scoring four goals and providing one assist across all competitions this season.
