Nigeria’s Noah Sarenren Bazee opened his scoring account as Augsburg thrashed Schalke 3-0 in a shocking Bundesliga result on Sunday.
Bazee needed just 15 minutes after coming on as a substitute to grab his first goal in what was his fourth appearance for the rookies.
The 23-year-old showed his class win eliminating two defenders before hitting home with a beauty. According to Brila, Bazee, has had communications with Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr.
“Born to a German mother and Nigerian father in Stadthagen, Germany, Noah Sarenren Bazee has so far been approached by coach of the Nigerian team Gernot Rohr to switch his allegiance to Nigeria,” reported the publication.
“He was named to the Nigeria squad for the March 2017 friendlies against Senegal but injury stopped him from making his debut,” added the report.
