According to Ander Herrera, his teammate Edinson Cavani is interested in a move to Spain, and not Italy.
Cavani was linked with a move away for the Parc des Princes in January, but PSG reportedly blocked his move say from the club.
At the moment, Serie A side Inter Milan is said to be after Cavani especially after selling Mauro Icardi to PSG, but Herrera suggests Cavani is not interested.
Atletico Madrid was interested in January and the former Manchester United man believes that is Cavani's pick.
“I know Cavani wants to play in Spain because it’s a league and a country that he loves,” Herrera told AS in a recent interview.
“In fact, I’ve been wondering a lot about what he’ll do, but since we left Paris I’ve not had the chance to speak to him and I’m unaware of his current situation.”
The 33-year-old who is PSG’s record goal-scorer has been linked with a move to Newcastle United too in recent weeks with Brazilian side Flamengo also said to have tempted him to return to South America.
Cavani has scored 198 goals for the club across all competitions.
