German top tier side Ausburg, has announced Felix Uduokhai is no longer a loan player at the club.
The 22-year-old’s new permanent deal follows after the German-born defender did more than enough to impress Augsburg as a VfL Wolfsburg loanee. With 23 appearances made, taking the option to sign him became a no-brainer.
“Defender Felix Uduokhai will not be returning to VfL Wolfsburg after FC Augsburg exercised their option to buy the 22-year-old center-half, who had been on loan since the start of the season with the team that is currently sitting 13th in the table,” said Ausburg’s statement.
Meanwhile, chances of representing Nigeria remain since Uduokhai, who has a Nigerian dad, is yet to play for Germany’s senior side.
