Arsenal have received the first official offer for outcast Matteo Guendouzi, according to media reports.
Reports indicate that La Liga side Villarreal have submitted an offer to take Guendouzi on loan, and potentially on a permanent basis thereafter.
Reports emerged last week that former Arsenal boss Unai Emery wants a reunion with Guendouzi after the midfielder fell out of favour with Mikel Arteta. Emery recruited the Frenchman at Arsenal and wants to bring him to Spain.
The Gunners currently want around £30m for Guendouzi, but it is understood that they are willing to listen to loan offers provided that the loaning team takes over the wages.
Guendouzi made more than half of his Arsenal appearances to date under Emery. However, he has not seen eye to eye with Arteta, who is looking to reconstruct his midfield.
