Harambee Stars captain Victor Wanyama finally scored a goal in America’s Major League Soccer.

The former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder headed in a goal in the 53rd minute to restore parity for his Montreal Impact side this after opponents Toronto had taken a first time lead through Piatti.

With the game headed for a draw, Altidore was to come with the winner for Toronto in the 89th minute in what has been a poor run for coach Thierry Henry in the league competition that returned in a tournament format.

The loss leaves Impact third in a group that has Toronto, New England and DC United with Wanyama who has a total of eight appearances for the club since signing for the earlier in the year hoping they can change the fortunes when they take on Vancouver Whitecaps on Monday 14 September.
