✈️ Álvaro Morata's impressive career journey

Álvaro Morata only turns 28 tomorrow but he's already a veteran of three major domestic European Leagues.

The Spaniard recently returned to Juventus for a second stint in Turin in a loan switch that includes an option to buy if Morata impresses under new Juve boss Andrea Pirlo.

If The Italian champions trigger the option to buy, Morata's total accumulated transfer fees will climb in excess of €200m. Morata has won two Champions League titles & two LaLiga crowns with Real Madrid & two Serie A titles with Juventus in his first stint in Italy. He also scooped an FA Cup winner's medal with Chelsea in 2018 and has scored 17 goals in 33 appearances for Spain to date.

You can check out our Juventus season preview in case you missed it. Pirlo's men opened up their title defence with a solid 3-0 win over Sampdoria, with debutant Dejan Kulusevski getting himself on the score sheet, but then stuttered in score draws with Crotone and Roma, although those were either side of an impressive 3-0 win against Napoli and the 2-2 draw in the capital saw Juve play half an hour with ten men.

Morata scored Juve's opener in an impressive 2-0 win away to Dynamo Kyiv as the Old Lady got their Champions League group stage campaign off to the perfect start. Juve will need to lean on Morata's experience at the top-level if they are to go deep in the tournament.

Juve has a Sunday Serie A assignment on the horizon too, they'll face Hellas Verona at the Allianz Stadium and Alvaro Morata is expected to keep his place in the side.
