Southampton have completed the signing of Brest midfielder Ibrahima Diallo on a four-year deal.
The 21-year-old reportedly cost the Saints £12m, becoming the third edition of the summer to Ralph Hasenhüttl’s squad.
The France Under-21 international is a graduate of the Monaco academy, before going to make a name for himself with Brest, signing permanently in 2019 following an initial successful loan spell.
Ralph Hasenhüttl is eager to work with the youngster, saying;
"We are happy to bring him in here. He is an important signing for us, because in midfield we only have so many alternatives, and he showed in France that he is a fantastic midfield player. I am very happy that he will come to us and hopefully, he will have a good time with us.
