With United’s senior defenders Harry Maguire and Eric Bailly both out injured, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer put his faith in Axel Tuanzebe, who was starting his first competitive game since December 2019.
Instead of struggling, the 22-year-old performed with aplomb against one of the world’s most dangerous attackers like Kylian Mbappe and Neymar Jnr.
