Brazilian superstar Neymar Jnr is in no rush to sign a new deal with Paris Saint Germain.
There have been talks surrounding the player’s future with the club’s sporting director, Leonardo, in a recent interview with PSG TV admitting that their aim was to tie Neymar and Kylian Mbappe to new deals.
Neymar representatives have already been informed by the club of their intentions to hand the player a new improved deal and the player is said to be relaxed about the situation according to reports from Le Parisien.
The two sides have agreed to meet soon to further discuss the framework of a possible extension agreement with the player in need of information from the board about plans they have for the team including the future of manager Thomas Tuchel before inking a deal.
Neymar is said to be keen on winning the Champions League with the club and need an assurance of more signings for the club before signing a new deal.
PSG are confident that the player wants to stay in Paris but they will have to up their game in the demands set by the player if they are to have him for more seasons; the Brazilian having been linked with a move back to Laliga previously.
