BREAKING: Kylian Mbappe out with thigh injury ahead of Portugal clash

Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe will not be available for selection ahead of France clash against Portugal in the UEFA Nations League on Saturday night.

According to CBS Sports, Mbappe has not yet made a full recovery from his recent injury which was previously diagnoses as a hamstring problem but doctors later confirm it was an issue in his right thigh.

France boss Didier Deschamps and the medical staff confirmed that it would be risky to play Mbappe in this match against Portugal as the injury is still deemed sensitive.

The 21-year-old sustained the injury during PSG's 3-0 victory over Nantes at the end of October and has since not been in the matchday squad.

France, however, remain hopeful that Mbappe will be available for Le Bleus' clash against Sweden on Tuesday, November 17.
