Tunisia extend AFCON record after qualifying for 2021 edition

Tunisia extended their Africa Cup of Nations qualifying record after booking a place in next year's edition courtesy of a 1-1 draw against Tanzania.

The Carthage Eagles became the only country to qualify for the competition for a record 15th consecutive time, joining a handful of other teams that have qualified.

So far, five teams have qualified for the competition, including defending champions Algeria, last tournament's finalists Senegal, Mali and hosts Cameroon

There are 19 more spots up for grabs, which will be filled in the next round of matches scheduled for March  2021.
