Man City boss Pep Guardiola feels this season's football lacks finesse

Manchester City Pep Guardiola has admitted his honest opinion regarding the football this season as quoted by Tribal Football.

City registered a comfortable 5-0 victory over Burnley on Saturday with goals from Riyad Mahrez who scored a hat-trick, Benjamin Mendy and Feran Torres which places them eighth on the Premier League standings.

Despite the three points at the Etihad, Guardiola insists the football this season has lost its flair and feels that the players are lacking that finesse on the pitch.

"The problem today is the players lose the joy of playing football," Guardiola said.

"Before it was nice playing football once or twice a week with spectators. Now it's three days and then another one.

"We will travel to Porto to win, then prepare against Fulham."
