Inter Miami and DC United, both in Major League Soccer, are reportedly keeping an eye on former England striker Daniel Sturridge.
After being released by Turkish club Trabzonspor, the 31-year-old has been a free agent for just over a year and is now trying to revive his career.
Sturridge is reportedly wanted by David Beckham's Inter Miami – who recently signed Englishman Kieran Gibbs – and DC United, who were able to sign Wayne Rooney for a brief time between June 2018 and October 2019.
Sturridge has 26 caps for England and is known as a tremendously talented striker with natural goal-scoring ability.
If he joins the MLS before the 2021 season starts in April, the former Liverpool, Chelsea, and Manchester City forward will be a massive coup for the club.
Sturridge made 16 appearances for Trabzonspor in all competitions, scoring seven goals in the process.
