Real Valladolid president Ronaldo Luís Nazário de Lima has a fight on his hands to keep the Blanquivioletas in the Spanish top-flight, but it's a challenge they look well equipped for.
Ronaldo's side is currently 16th on the LaLiga table, three points clear of 18th-placed Huesca with nine games to play.
They've not scored more than once in any of their last three top-flight outings, and they do face two of the current top four, but they'll be hoping that the title race is done and dusted before the final day visit of current leaders Atletico Madrid.
🗓 Valladolid's remaining LaLiga fixtures

Of course, one cannot blame the great Ronaldo if he casts one eye on El Clásico this Saturday. The great man is one of the headline names to have represented both Real Madrid and Barcelona in his illustrious career.
But it will be business as usual for R9 and Real Valladolid when they prepare for the visit of Granada on Sunday when three precious points would edge them closer to survival.
With the final clutches of winter having melted away in Europe, Ronaldo will need his team to spring to the challenge that awaits them between now and May.
