Juventus manager Andrea Pirlo has given a positive view over Cristiano Ronaldo’s bizarre frustration after last weekend’s Serie A victory.
Juve completed a 3-1 win over Genoa last Sunday, but a frustrated Ronaldo threw his jersey on the ground after the game.
“It's normal he wanted to score a goal, especially seeing that the match had turned out in a certain way. It is part of the attitude of champions who always want to leave their mark,” Pirlo’s explanation said.
Additionally, other reports have later said Ronaldo was leaving the shirt for a ball boy that later picked up the iconic item.
Meanwhile, Juve next travel to Atalanta for a league game next Sunday.
