English Premier League side Arsenal will go for Maurizio Sarri if they are to part ways with current manager Mikel Arteta.
Arteta has led the team to one of their worst outings in recent years with the club in danger of missing a European slot come next season.
According to Rai Sport journalist Ciro Venerato as relayed by Sport Witness, both Arsenal and Tottenham, as well as Roma are on the lookout for Sarri who is yet to get a club since parting ways with Juventus last season.
“I received a phone call from Figline Valdarno (where Sarri lives) from friends of the former Juventus manager, and I discovered interesting things. Maurizio Sarri has not signed with any team. A month ago he said no to Marseille. Arsenal and Tottenham are following him, as well as Roma,” he noted.
It has been reported that Arsenal is giving Arteta until the end of the season to see what he can do but with a few good managers out there looking for a job, the pressure is on the former Man City assistant manager to deliver results for the North London club.
