Ronald Koeman suspension appeal rejected

Barcelona FC head coach Ronald Koeman has seen his appeal thrown out after being thrown out of the stadium in the club’s Granada last week.

The Dutchman was then suspended from accessing the dugout in their win over Valencia with the manager having hoped to be represented when they take on Atletico in the Laliga title decider this coming weekend.

It is reported that Koeman told the fourth official 'what a character' in their loss to Granada with the RFEF Appeals Committee going on to rejected Barcelona’s appeal. In the Dutchman absence, Barca assistant coach Alfred Schreuder will again be on the touchline in Koeman's place.
