Atletico Madrid keeper Jan Oblak would welcome a move to Manchester United in the summer.
There have been rife speculations that keeper David De Gea is considering his options at United after the birth of his first child and wants to go back to Spain with Atleti being his preferred destination.
According to ESPN, United has been told that Oblak is willing to replace the Spaniard at United with United set to go for a top keeper should De Gea leave.
Atletico is open to offloading Oblak – valued at around £100m – in the upcoming transfer window due to financial pressures brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic with a chunk of teams in the Premier League said to be on high alert about the keeper’s situation.
Oblak is one of the most coveted keepers in world football having conceded just 22 times in 34 La Liga games this season, playing an integral role in keeping Diego Simeone’s side at the top of the table.
In the six-season he has been in Spain, Oblak has kept 159 clean sheets with the reports indicating that he likes the idea of a Premier League move this summer.
