Norwich City will not allow Arsenal target Emiliano Buendia to leave for anything less than a club-record fee this summer, according to sporting director Stuart Webber.
Arsenal are believed to be leading the race for Buendia's signature as they aim to bolster their creative ranks ahead of the new season. Ben Godfrey is currently the club's most expensive player having signed for Everton for a reported fee of £25m.
And now Webber has now hinted that a fee closer to £30m would be needed if the club were to part ways with prized assets such as Buendia, Max Aarons, or Todd Cantwell.
"If we do sell one, it's going to be a club-record deal," the club's chief told BBC.
"It's probably going to start with a number three in front of it and that will give us great opportunities to maybe make the whole [squad] better as well. We're really relaxed on that front."
The 24-year-old netted 15 goals while providing 17 assists Norwich clinched the Championship title last term.
