Due to Villa's own ambitions as a club, the decision will ultimately rest on what Grealish wants for his future.
Meanwhile, Grealish, who impressed in his first 2020 Euro start against the Czech Republic, is expected to be in the starting team against Germany in the last 16 battle at Wembley on Tuesday.
