Chelsea striker, Tammy Abraham, is the subject of a £40 million deal from Aston Villa.
According to the Mirror, the 23-year-old striker has been told he is free to leave Stamford Bridge since he is not in Thomas Tuchel's long-term plans.
And it has opened the door for Villa manager Dean Smith, who was responsible for Abraham's successful loan stay three seasons ago.
Abraham's goals were essential in Villa's promotion to the Premier League via the Championship play-off final, and his return would be warmly greeted by fans.
Smith, too, wants to tie up his transfer business as soon as possible this summer to give himself as much time as possible to work with his team.
