Spanish side Deportivo Alaves has completed the signing of Newcastle United defender Florian Lejeune for an undisclosed fee.
Florian, who had one year left on his current deal at St James' Park, spent last year on loan at the Spanish side. The 30-year-old was signed by Rafa Benitez five years ago but fell out of favor under Steve Bruce.
"Florian Lejeune has completed a permanent move to Alavés - where he spent last season on loan - for an undisclosed fee," a statement from Newcastle United read.
Lejeune made 46 appearances in all competitions for the Magpies.
