🚨 Barça and Neymar end legal cases amicably

Barcelona and Neymar have reached an agreement to amicably end legal cases against each other, the club has confirmed.

Neymar left the Catalan club in 2017 to join PSG, in what was a world-record transfer at the time.

Barcelona opened legal proceedings against the Brazilian over bonus payments made to the forward when he had signed a new contract with the Catalans a year before his switch to France.

Neymar, on the other hand, sued his former club, with his lawyers demanding the sum of €44m as part of the fees he believed he is still owed by the Blaugrana.

"Barcelona announce that it has ended out of court in amicable fashion the various labour and civil litigation cases that were open with the Brazilian player Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior," read part of the statement.

Adding; "As such, a transactional agreement between the Club and the player has been signed to end the legal cases that were pending between the two parties: three claims related to labour and a civil case.

"Neymar was a Barça player between the seasons 2013/14 until 2016/17. Subsequently, he signed for Paris Saint-Germain, the club where he currently plays,"
