According to reports, Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson is set to sign a new contract with the Premier League champions.
Since joining City from Benfica in 2017, the 27-year-old has been Pep Guardiola's uncontested number one and has three Premier League winners' medals to his name.
Ederson easily won the Golden Glove title last season after keeping 19 clean sheets in 36 Premier League games, as well as seven shutouts in 12 Champions League games.
The goalkeeper's current contract with Man City is set to expire in 2025, but according to The Athletic, the English champions want to extend it for another three years, until the end of the 2027-28 season.
According to the source, Ederson is poised to sign a new contract with the club, which is also planning to extend the contracts of John Stones, Phil Foden, and Raheem Sterling.
In Copa America, Ederson again had three clean sheets and was picked for the final over Alisson Becker, but Brazil lost 1-0 to Argentina in the showpiece event.
