Turkish Süper Lig side Galatasaray has confirmed it has terminated the contract of striker Radamel Falcao.
"The contracts between professional football player Radamel Falcao Garcia Zarate and our company have been mutually terminated. It is announced to the public with respect," a statement from the club read.
The former Manchester United and Atletico Madrid striker is now set to join Rayo Vallecano. The LaLiga newbies have finally managed to add first division experience this summer, a player who once scored 52 goals in just 68 appearances for Atletico Madrid.
The 35-year-old is reported to have signed a two-year contract and will link up with Rayo in the coming days.
At Galatasaray, he scored 19 times in 34 games having joined in 2019.
