Manchester United is on the verge of recording another unwanted record under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
United who had one of the most interesting summer transfer windows has failed to convince in their starting games where they lost their opening game in the Champions League against Young Boys, getting eliminated out of the EFL Cup by West Ham and losing to Aston Villa in the weekend.
United will be up against Villarreal on Wednesday night in their second group game in the Champions League with their opponents having beaten them in the Europa League finals last season.
Should they lose to the Spanish outfit, Solskjaer will become the first United manager in history to have lost both of his opening two matches in an edition of the competition.
While there is a feeling that Solskjaer has done well with the United team, another loss against Villarreal might be a dent in his position at the club with reports rife that Zinedine Zidane and Antonio Conte are all waiting for the opportunity should the club decide to part ways with the Norwegian.
