Manchester United came from two goals down to beat Atalanta 3-2 in an entertaining Champions League match played at Old Trafford on Wednesday night.
The Italians led 2-0 at half-time thanks to Mario Pasalic and Merih Demiral goals, but United hit back with strikes from Marcus Rashford, Harry Maguire, and Cristiano Ronaldo.
The win was a copy paste of their come-from-behind victory against Sevilla last time out in the competition.
It was a balanced contest in the opening half of an hour, with both teams looking to settle in first.
It however took the visitors exactly 15 minutes to find the back of the net, with former Chelsea players Davide Zappacosta and Mario Pasalic combining well.
Zappacosta was in a good shooting position to try find the back of the net, but spotted the forward in a better position and neatly passed the ball to him to beat the keeper with a precise shot.
The goal was however subjected to a VAR review over a possible offside but was allowed to stand.
United could have equalised two minutes later, but Fred wasted a great scoring opportunity after he received a precise lofted cross inside the box and sent a quick shot to the roof of the net, but he couldn't get the power to direct it past Juan Musso, who kept it out.
They were punished for the missed chance as the visitors doubled their lead just before the half-hour mark.
A corner ball was whipped in and Merih Demiral found himself in the right place at the right time, planting his header perfectly into the left side of the goal.
Fred was again culpable of missing a great opportunity before the break as United trailed 2-0 going into the break.
United came back for the second half a totally different team, scoring thrice to turn the match on its head.
First, Marcus Rashford pulled them level in the 55th minute after receiving a killer pass that put him one-on-one with the goalie.
They had to wait until the 75th minute to find the equaliser, and it came through captain Harry Maguire.
Cristiano Ronaldo then ensured they won their second group match with the winner in the 81st minute.
