Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Kimmich is likely to miss Friday's tie against Augsburg after coming in contact with someone who is suspected of having Covid-19.
Kimmich was set to return to training today after the international break but it has been revealed the midfielder might miss tomorrow's match after he was in contact with someone suspected to be COVID-19 virus.
"A precaution was taken regarding Joshua Kimmich," Bayern boss Julian Nagelsmann said.
"He had contact with someone suspected to have Coronavirus in his private sphere. It's not confirmed yet. We're waiting on the result from the PCR test."
On facing Augsburg
"They have a clear idea of what they want to do with the ball. They've always used quick players against Bayern in the past to utilize their strengths on the break. We are prepared for several different formations."
"Choupo and Alphonso Davies will only return today, so they've been missing from training. They will be part of the activation session tomorrow and will then travel to Augsburg. We'll have to see if they feature or not."
"Coman has minor muscular problems, so he won't be involved tomorrow. Süle had mild symptoms. It's like it was for me - he can stop isolating after 14 days. Things are looking good for Leon Goretzka
, he's got no problems anymore."
