Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka has admitted he would be open to returning to Borussia Monchengladbach.
Xhaka's contract with Arsenal is set to expire in the summer of 2024, but the midfielder says he would be open to returning to his former club after that.
"I have just extended my contract, which still has two and a half years to run," the Swiss told the Mit Geredet podcast:
"Then I'll be 32, and if Max Eberl [Monchengladbach's sporting director] is willing to bring me back when I'm 32, my door will be open."
The 29-year-old signed for the north London side in 2016 from Gladbach for a reported fee in the region of £30m.
