Tottenham got back to winning ways after their horror show at NS Mura as they beat Brentford 2-0 on Thursday night.
Spurs took the lead in the 12th minute and it was an own goal from Sergi Canos. Son delivered a short corner before receiving back and floating a cross into the Brentford area. Davies attacked the ball but was beaten to it by Jansson, whose headed clearance cannoned off Canos and into the back of his own net.
In the second half, Spurs went close to doubling their lead but Fernandez was there to rescue Brentford. Skipp slotted Kane through on goal, but just had the 'keeper to beat, but Fernandez stayed big and tall to thwart the Spurs captain's effort.
Spurs were on the counter and doubled their lead through Son. Kane lead a Spurs counter and released the ball ahead of Reguilon, who had acres in front of him down the left flank. Heung-min Son dart into a central position and had the simple task of stroking Reguilon's center into the Brentford net.
