Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich have tabled a bid for Barcelona goalkeeper Marc Andre ter Stegen.
The German has been under a lot of pressure at Camp Nou with a section of the fans questioning his commitment to the club's course with reports rife that the player would consider a move back to Germany.
According to a report relayed by El Nacional Catalunya, Ter Stegen has received an offer from Bayern he cannot resist with the club keen on the successor of Manuel Neuer who is set to retire soon.
While Ter Stegen is one of the most coveted goalkeepers in the world, in the Champions League, between now and August 2020, Bayern Munich is responsible for 14 of the goals he has conceded.
New Barca boss Xavi Hernandez made it clear initially that ter Stegen is important to the club but there is a belief that they are in the market for another keeper with Andre Onana being a target despite a deal with Inter Milan said to be in place for him.
Ter Stegen however won't come cheap as Barcelona wants €70 Million for the player as they seek to address their financial challenges.
