Inter Milan set a new Serie A record in their 5-0 victory over Salernitana, scoring 100 goals in the whole of 2021.
The record now betters the previous one of 99 goals in the year 1950. Ivan Perisic opened the scoring for the visitors before Denzel Dumfries made it 2-0. Alexis Sanchez scored the third at the start of the second half as Lautaro Martínez netted the fourth.
Roberto Gagliardini scored the fifth goal three minutes to stoppage time as Milan picked their sixth consecutive victory in Serie A.
100 goal Record
Inter's 100 goals can be shared by both former boss Antonio Conte and the current coach Simone Inzaghi.
100 - For the first time in their Serie A history, Inter have scored at least 100 goals in a single calendar year, overtaking their previous record (99 in 1950). Magnificent. #SalernitanaInter pic.twitter.com/VaMo1SPBS1
