🧤 EPL Clean sheet battle: Ederson leads race for Golden glove

The English Premier League, just like many of the top leagues across Europe, will take a two-week break to allow for international action, the first of the year.

Manchester City lead the standings on 57 points, nine ahead of Liverpool in second on 48 points.

Chelsea and Manchester United occupy third and fourth spots respectively, following their wins over Tottenham and West Ham.

Away from the battle for the top prize, the race for individual honours is equally tight.

As expected, goalkeepers for the leading clubs are battling for the Golden Glove, awarded to the player conceding the fewest of goals at the end of the season.

Currently, Man City's Ederson leads the way with 12, followed by Liverpool's Liverpool's Alisson Becker and Arsenal's Aaron Ramsdale, both on 10.

Three keepers are tied on eight each, including Chelsea's Edouardo Mendy, who is currently away at the Africa Cup of Nations

How have the other goalkeepers performed?

Here is the list;

  • Ederson - 12
  • Alisson Becker - 10
  • Aaron Ramsdale - 10
  • Hugo Lloris - 8
  • Jose Sa - 8
  • Edouardo Mendy - 8
