Fiorentina president Rocco Commisso has hit out on Dusan Vlahovic and his representatives.
Commisso has accused Vlahovic's representatives of being 'liars' while branding them 'dishonest'. Dusan, who was a target for Arsenal completed his move to Juventus for a reported fee of £63m last weekend.
The striker's contract was set to expire in the summer of 2023 and made it clear he will not be renewing it as he was eyeing a move to Italian giants Juventus. Fiorentina were left with no option but to cash in while they could.
Commisso was far from impressed with the transfer saga, fuming at Vlahovic's behaviour as he confirmed the club had received an offer from a Premier League side.
"Vlahović deal was full of dishonest and liars. We opened talks with English clubs - every time a new offer came up, Vlahović and his agents said no," he said.
"Their plan was the same as Mbappé with PSG: leave as a free agent and make money."
The 22-year-old has netted 17 goals so far this season in Serie A.
