Just two days after losing the African Cup of Nations to Senegal, Mohammed Salah has been snapped back in training with Liverpool.
It was expected that the player would be given more time off by the Reds but it seems he wants to get back to playing as soon as he can with reports rife that he is in contention for the club's next match against Leicester City.
"Mo is now back, I spoke already to him. He is very disappointed of course, but looking forward to all the things coming up here now. I spoke to him and pretty much the first thing Mo told me was: 'I'm ready," Klopp said of his striker.
On the other hand, Klopp revealed that Sadio Mane, who scored the winning penalty, joined celebrations in the Senegalese capital Dakar on Monday, and will not return to England in time to play on Thursday's game.
"Sadio flies out if it's possible on Wednesday night, so will arrive here on Thursday but he is, of course, then not involved in the Leicester game," the German added.
Liverpool who are currently placed second on the Premier league table will be up against the Foxes on Thursday with a win set to narrow the gap between them and leaders Manchester City who have played a game more.
