Ralph Hasenhuttl being considered as the next Man United boss

Manchester United are seriously considering Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl as their next boss.

United are in the market for a permanent manager to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in the summer and according to the Mirror, Hasenhuttl has been added to the list.

The Australian has done some good work with Southampton and having worked with Ralf Rangnick at RB Leipzig, it is believed that the current United interim manager believes the coach would easily build on what he is laying at Old Trafford.

Mauricio Pochettino and Ajax's Erik ten Hag are still the front runners but Hasenhuttl gives those in charge of United another option should the former two prove hard to find in the summer.

The report says that the Saints boss passed his Old Trafford examination after holing Man City to two draws with the tactician said to be keen managing a bigger club than Southampton.
